With miles of sandy beaches, Myrtle Beach is certainly the jewel of South Carolina. The southern city boasts a subtropical climate with warm winters and even warmer summers. Anyone vacationing in Myrtle Beach would not be bored for the lack of entertainment and exciting destinations. There are golf courses (the city is known as the Golf Capital of the World), amusement parks, restaurants of every kind and an aquarium, to name just a few highlights. This city remains the hub of the "Grand Strand," a group of beach towns and small islands spanning from Georgetown to Little River.

The historic fishing village of Murrells Inlet is South Carolina’s very own Seafood Capital. With more than 30 restaurants, some right on the creek, you are sure to enjoy the local seafood treats available. Murrells Inlet is located only eight miles from Pawley’s Island and thirteen miles from Myrtle Beach. The world’s largest outdoor sculpture garden, Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington Beach State Park are also in the Murrells Inlet area.

End the day with a gorgeous sunset over the marsh creek. Do you think you could get used to this kind of lifestyle? What are you waiting for?

Pawleys Island

Welcome to “Arrogantly Shabby” Pawley’s Island, South Carolina where you are always properly dressed when you wear your flip flops (or not) and shorts. This is where the words “laid-back” originated. Where you can still hear beach music and sandy wet feet will always bring a smile.

Pawley’s is located 70 miles north of Charleston and 25 miles south of Myrtle Beach and only 10 miles north of the city of Georgetown. So close to everything but just far enough away to enjoy the simple but important things like the beach, boating, fishing, crabbing, shrimping, sunsets and sunrises.

Georgetown County has it all only minutes from town.
If you like to be close to the city life but closer to the laid back relaxed lifestyle then Georgetown is the place to be.

Located on Hwy. 17 between Myrtle Beach and Charleston, Georgetown was established in 1732 and is South Carolina’s third oldest city. From its earliest beginnings, to its present status as a vibrant and gracious city of 9,000, Georgetown has long been known for its rich history, natural wonders, warm hospitality and Southern charm.
